Technical
Dupli Coated Products’ engineering team works closely with you to understand your application goals and develop a custom solution tailored to your needs. With three coating technologies available on-site, Dupli can match your product to the optimal coating process for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
All CPD coatings utilize water based technology. No solvent based coatings are used in our operation
- Slitting, sheeting, and packaging
Microsphere technology refers to the large spherical polymers used in the Stik-Withit® adhesive formula. Though microscopic these large adhesive polymers are approximately 15 to 20 times bigger than the typical adhesive polymer in other adhesives. Microsphere adhesive is repositionable and never becomes permanent over time.
CPD’s newly designed cohesive paper uses a uniquely formulated cohesive. This formula is coated to a 16-point paper stock, that is inactive until the time that you need to join the second 16-point sheet. With 330 PSI of pressure added, the sheets bond permanently. The reverse side of the sheet has a digital print receptive coating.
To achieve best performance and improved longevity, store coated products out of the direct sunlight, at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and in 60% or less humidity. All coated products should be tested for performance in converting operations, and in the end use application, prior to being placed into production.
Coated products are best stored in their original wrapping until they are ready to be used. To ensure optimal performance of the coatings, coated products should be used within one year of the date of manufacture.
Common coated products may not be sufficient in every application. If you have a specific application that requires a coated product, please call your customer service team member. They are able to assist you in selecting an appropriate coated product solution for your application.

We maintain relationships with trusted testing facilities that specialize in sustainability validation and can manufacture products to meet targeted environmental standards. From there, Dupli can help guide the process and connect you with certification partners to achieve final certification.
